Anshai Emeth is a Reform Jewish congregation serving the Peoria and central Illinois region. Stretching back to the mid-19th century, the congregation has a long and interesting history. For details see the History section of this site. Our current building, dedicated inThe small chapel is for smaller more intimate services 1967, houses both the Anshai Emeth and Agudas Achem congregations.

 

Anshai Emeth adopted a set of goals for the congregation in April of 2000:

    1. Jewish education of adults and children

    2. Provide an environment for prayer, the celebration of life cycle events and holidays

    3. Foster a supportive congregational community

    4. Participate and initiate social action (Tikkun Olam)

    5. Represent Reform Judaism to others
